    The RSGD is a user-friendly soft starting solution for 3-phase AC induction motors.
    Supplied in one of the most compact housings in its category, the RSGD series is suitable for soft starting and soft stopping motors rated up to 100 A (55 kW 400V AC).
    The RSGD reduces starting current significantly whilst maintaining balanced currents on all motor phases. Rampup time, ramp-down time and initial torque may be independently adjusted to suit your application needs. Optional relay outputs are also available for top of ramp and alarm indication to provide useful information on the soft starter status to your control system.
    With the RSGD, panel space requirement is minimal as all the range (up to 45AAC) is designed in a compact 45 mm wide housing and 75 mm from 55 A to 100 A ensuring an easy fit in existing panels.
    During every start, the RSGD algorithm adapts the start parameters such that currents on all the 3 phases are as balanced as possible thus reducing heat losses in the motor windings.
    The RSGD soft starters estimate the motor speed and, at 75% of the set ramp-up time, if the motor did not reach full speed, will increase the current limit automatically to accelerate the motor to the correct speed by the end of the ramp-time set by the user.
