    DETAILED DESCRIPTION

    TMRTC

    Is the new weekly time relay, designed to control relay output activation at user-programmable time intervals based on the day and time of the week. It is used for the management of applications requiring programmed switching on and off at certain times of the day, in both industrial and civil sectors, such as the control of lighting, the control of air conditioning systems, the activation of sirens or bells, the control of machinery performing a cyclic process, and many other functions.

    TMAST

    Is the astronomical time relay capable of automatically calculating the sunrise and sunset times of a set geographical location using configured coordinates. This information is typically used for the automatic control of public or private lighting systems, such as car park and garage lights, illuminated signs and shop windows, lighting of fountains or monuments, and, more generally, any application that needs to be automatically activated in the hours between sunset and sunrise, with the possibility of programming customised functions.

     

    Both models automatically manage the transition between daylight saving time and summer time according to the configured time zone, without the need for manual intervention.

    NFC connectivity is integrated on the front of the time relays, allowing configuration via NFC-enabled Android and iOS smartphones or tablets and the LOVATO NFC app, which can be downloaded free of charge from Google Play Store and App Store. This technology offers numerous advantages: from the simplicity of programming, thanks to the app's graphic interface that clearly and immediately shows all the parameters with complete descriptions, to the high precision guaranteed by the digital configuration, through to the protection of settings by means of a password and the possibility of copying the configuration to other time relays of the same model in just a few seconds.

    In terms of hardware, the TMRTC and TMAST are equipped with a relay output with NO contact with 16A rating and are supplied with 220...240VAC auxiliary voltage. They are manufactured in a compact 1 module (1U) housing, for installation on 35mm DIN rails or by screw fixing.

    TMRTC and TMST are also equipped with zero crossing technology for load insertion, which consists of monitoring the mains voltage waveform and inserting the load at the exact moment when the voltage crosses zero. This reduces the inrush current generated when the load is switched on - which in some cases can reach very high values, as in the control of LED lamps - protecting both the load itself, prolonging its electrical life, and the relay contact of the time relay.

    These new devices represent a modern, precise and reliable solution for controlling simple automations in civil, tertiary and industrial installations. They combine compactness, robustness and flexibility with extreme user-friendliness, guaranteed by configuration via NFC via app.
