RMD1H: The ideal solution for switching of resistive single phase loads in residential buildings with minimum audible noise with integral bypassing of semiconductors and internal over-temperature protection.
On applying the control voltage, thyristors are activated and after a short delay, an electromechanical relay is activated to bypass them (same principle applies during removal of the control input). This switching method protects the contacts of the electromechanical relay and reduces heating of the thyristors. The result is millions of trouble-free cycles in a compact and modular switching package.
