RGTS

The RGTS is a very simple soft starter for low starting torque single phase AC induction motors. It only requires two easy settings for initial torque and ramp-up duration.
The RGTS is the perfect solution for fans and pumps running on 110 VAC up to 240 VAC, where the mains voltage is prone to sags. Particularly in a residential or in a light commercial environment, such voltage sags may cause disturbances to occupants as well as to sensitive electronic devices. In some cases, the high starting current may also cause protection devices to trip. The RGTS can considerably reduce the direct on line start current by 40%, thereby reducing such disturbances and ensuring better up-time.
It is a robust design (up to 100 kA short circuit current rating), making it compliant with the requirements of UL508a for industrial control panels. The fully solid state design makes this product ideal for application with frequent starts.
