DCRL

Lovato Electric introduces a new series of automatic power factor controllers designed to offer state-of-the-art functions for power factor compensation applications. The DCRL series inherits winning features of the DCRK series and add more functions presenting them in an extremely compact version. The DCRL controller is available in three versions:

• DCRL3 with three built-in steps
• DCRL5 with five built-in steps and
• DCRL8 with eight built-in steps.

They use an algorithm to calculate the optimum configuration of capacitor steps in order to reach the set cosφ.

The selection criteria takes into account many variables such as: the power of each step, the number of operations, the total time of use, the reconnection time, etc.

The new front panel combines a modern design with a clear and intuitive user interface with a backlight icon LCD display. The embedded icon display is able to show all the necessary data in a clear and friendly way.

A label on the front, with dedicated accessory, lets the user customize the product name or logo.

The optical USB/Wi-Fi port on front allows communication with PC, smartphone and tablet without removing power to the electrical panel to connect communications cables
